Virtual Field Trip

We can’t travel the world right now, but we can bring the world to you! EIS teachers organized a Virtual field trip to take the students to visit our Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal, counted among the Seven Wonders of the World is eye-delight to most of its visitors. And why shouldn’t it be? Built using Rajasthani Makrana Marble, it defies many world’s architectures with its grandeur and beauty.

The Taj Mahal is a unique sight of a kind under the moonlight and there is no better time than seeing it at full moon night. As the moonlight reflects on the white monument the marble shines and offers a resplendent beauty of vastness. While the daytime viewing offers various sights like early morning to sunset view of the Taj Mahal, the night is also amazing when the moonlight rises up and shines over the marble structure. The marble inlays over the exterior are visible giving out a different shine altogether.

Taj Mahal was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.

Students really enjoyed the session due to more information about the Taj mahal and the various pictures in high quality.
