The Global Educators Meet - Artlink program - Creative Connections USA

A virtual meet was organized by EIS partner Creative Connections, USA for the all the teachers connected globally with the Artlink program.

EIS teachers had received a special invitation to meet and talk to educators around the world on;

- Starting a dialogue with ArtLink partner teachers located in the USA and abroad

- Sharing ideas on how the ArtLink program is currently being implemented with students

- Learning from each other about the educational challenges and opportunities during the pandemic.

EIS is a part of Artlink program since 3 years.

ArtLink is an innovative international exchange program which is designed for 3rd Grade classes onward. Students create art pieces that reflect their life and culture, and exchange their work with a partner class in another country. Students then examine and enjoy the art from overseas, gaining new insights into both their own and their partner’s cultures. Finally, students share their insights with one another by posting online thoughtful written responses and photos.

Miguel Barreto, ArtLink Program Director, was the facilitator. EIS Vice Principal Mrs Archana Okhade and Artlink Coordinator Mrs Eshaa Kulkarni participated in the IVC.
