Science activity - to prepare a model of a nest with the help of naturally available materials grass, straw, threads, wool, sticks, or twigs.

EIS students of class 3rd undertook the nest-building challenge as part of the experiential learning. The students made nests after observing a few real nests in their surroundings and watching a PowerPoint on nests of various types shown by the Science teacher.

They took particular care to follow the challenge rules- using only naturally found material, no use of Fevicol, cello tapes, etc. and following more or less the same patterns, as the birds do in building their nests.

Creative and Engineering skills were at a peak while building a bird's home!
