Covid Vaccination Camp

Educon International School had organized a covid vaccination drive in association with the PMC health department on the school premises for students aged between 12 years to 18 years.

The vaccination drive was facilitated and conducted by the PMC health department and intended to vaccinate all the eligible students from std 7th to 10th.

Talking about organizing the vaccination drive, the Chairman of EIS, Dr. Nikhil Wagh said, “At EIS, we care for the well-being of our children, and they mean a lot to us. So, when the PMC began vaccination drives for school children to inoculate the 12-18 age group, we shared a Google Form with the parents to be filled. Based on the number of positive responses, we successfully organized a camp with the PMC. I am happy with its success since it is definitely a step towards a safe environment and normalcy for students and teachers who are eager to come back to school. We hope to hold similar vaccination drives in the future to ensure that all of our eligible students are vaccinated.”

150+ students were administered the Corbevax/Covaxin, with the second dose to be taken after 28 days. The registration process was seamless and all the teachers helped parents in the same.

Besides, EIS ensured a smooth and seamless drive while maintaining the necessary social distancing and hygiene protocols.
