Virtual Field Trip to African Savanna - Tropical Grasslands

Virtual field trips instantly connect students with learning opportunities they may not get to experience otherwise. And it all happens from the comfort of their home. EIS students of Nursery to Grade 2nd visited the beautiful Savanna in various sessions organised for them.
Students took a first-row seat at the waterholes where the action is. They saw elephants, giraffes, warthogs, rhinos, zebras, lions, and so much more. They also understood the whole Savanna ecosystem which is a tropical grassland with warm temperatures year-round and with its highest seasonal rainfall in the summer. The savanna is characterized by grasses and small or dispersed trees that do not form a closed canopy, allowing sunlight to reach the ground.
