Learning beyond the textbook

EIS prepares students for life by developing in them knowledge and understanding of the world while retaining the traditional Indian Values.

As a step towards retaining the Indian Values and appreciating the glorious past of the state of ‘Maharashtra’, the students of Grade VIII learned about the brave Marathas and the extraordinary Maratha king “Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj”.

Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was very innovative, creative, and brave while ruling Swarajya and had a big vision to overcome challenges. His story teaches us the virtues of patience, courage, confidence, strategy against odds, goal-oriented approach, love for nation, and commitment.
